I thought Walters tracking back was brilliant tonight and he grew in confidence as the game developed. Unlucky to not take all 3 points but that is two of the hardest games of our season out of the way, so hopefully now we can kick on and start racking up the points again. Also i really think bringing Peers back in over Chadwick was a mistake, i think Chadwick would have made a bigger impact than Peers did tonight off the bench... I hope Peers proves me wrong though

« on: April 24, 2019, 04:53:54 PM »Full trust in Parky and Sorvs should they wish to rotate heavily, slightly or not at all. For what it's worth I wouldn't want us to rest more than 2 or 3 and even then I would do so only if they are complaining about a niggle of some sort. We are a momentum team that goes on runs, and I'd hate for us to go into the play offs cold.
Blind optimism? Shown wrong calls against Stockport rotating players in the only time he's done it this year.
Im sure we played Heathcote and Richman in a shuffled back 4 away somewhere once too.
Rushall away, Heathcote subbed off at half time after having a shocker at left back and we lost 2-0

Great win yesterday, next few games give us an oppurtunity to gather a bit of form heading into tough fixtures against Brackley and Telford and it looks like Poole is coming near to a return and of course Hulme is back so our options are alot broader in attack.

Thompson was very lucky not to give them a goal at the start of the second half to make it 2-1! He was the only bad performer on the pitch for me, can’t think why Drench was dropped or was it just a rotational thing

We just can’t seem to see out games. We got lucky last week after letting FC back into the game, but we didn’t get as lucky this week.
