Just come back from one of the most positive fans forums I have been to for many a year.

No talk of "we might win a few" or " just surviving ".

Going in there to continue to play good football and try and follow the example of how Halifax and Nuneaton have done.

Wants to add quality to what we have now and go with a squad of 20 initially.

So the complete breakup didn't happen.  Losing Wally is a blow but I believe we'll get through that.

Another good night.

And Reevesie signs again, time to step back up to top dog for that lad I think.

I would just like to back up what Mark has said about next season. All of those who were there like me, felt there were so many positives from the meeting to take into next season. I am so glad the players have re-signed again it looks like we have another good player in Sean Williams.

I spoke to Lee's wife yesterday and told her I hope she was very proud of what her husband has achieved here. she has seen how the modd has changed at the club and what really impressed me was Lee's statement, we don't just want to survive, but how high can we go. Lee and Neil are the ones to take the club forward, and I honestly feel we can achieve all the clubs long term ambitions with these two and the squad. We need 5 or 6 more signings and full credit to the management team as the other players wanting to stay reflects well on them.

In conclusion, I feel the club should try it's best to fulfill everybody's ambition and dream of becoming a league club; its time to get that back now cos its not just lets survive, but how hogh can we acheive. Great night last night, but I wish even more of you could have been there to here what was said.

How many of our current squad have scored against us at Moss Lane for previous clubs. Of the top of my head the list would include Wilkinson and Perry?

Was that the night he got sent off? I breathed a sigh of relief cos he was running our defence ragged.

What a rainy night that was.......think he got sent off as well

That was a top non league night.....both sets of supporters sheltering in the same stand....the sponsors lounge was a table behind a curtain in the (decent) bar

It was from open play Jimmy.....raced on to a one on one through the middle & buried it from about the edge of the area.It bounced off the advertising board behind the net & rebounded to about the penalty spot.

There was some footage of this game around at the time but I can't find it.

Did Perry ever score at Moss Lane against us? I remember his equaliser at Tamworth but I'm struggling to remember another goal against us?

It was......dreadful decision to send him off for a foul on Chris Lane that was deemed to be leading with his elbow.

You're right, he was running us ragged.

Kyle Perry scored at Moss Lane for Mansfield Town in their 2-1 win on Saturday, 10th October 2009.

It was the match in which we had both Chris Senior and Matt Doughty sent off.
