Wimbledon postal tickets

Taken from the main site

The AFC Wimbledon site adds that posted "tickets will be sent at the risk of the applicant – in other words we cannot issue replacement tickets for any that are lost in the post. Fans who want secure delivery of the tickets should not stamp the self-addressed envelope but instead add a payment of £2 for a recorded delivery service. Alternatively, applicants can request that the tickets are kept at the office for collection. Applicants must enclose a daytime phone contact number.

This is nonsense. Tickets are covered by distance selling law which states that it is the responsibility of the seller to ensure the goods arrive. If anyone buys a ticket and does not receive it they are legally entitled to a refund or replacement.

You don't need a ticket, you can pay on the gate. We won't fill a section holding around 400!

Its got considerably colder here today, and the forecast aint great.

The weather in London is worse than it is here.

Not sure this is the case... I was home for Xmas and all the roads were frozen over, snow everywhere. Got back down to London before New Year and it was like there had been no snow, pollution makes it hard for it to stick I think.

How much are the tickets on the gate does anyone know??? This is my local game but am in between jobs at the moment so seriously considering giving it a miss  >:(

"The match is not all ticket and visiting fans will be located at the Kingston Road End of the ground and entry should be via turnstile 3. Terrace prices are Adults £12, Concessions £6, Eskimoes £4, and Under-16s £2.

I cannot see the Wimbledon match going ahead. Does this mean we it will be rescheduled for the following Tuesday so cancelling the rearranged fixture wiht Kettering?

Postponed fixtures would be rescheduled for the replay date so, in answer to your question, yes.

But that doesn't necessarily mean it would take precedence over the Kettering game if the two clashed...

F.A.TROPHY REPLAYS OR POSTPONED MATCHES TAKE PREFERENCE OVER LEAGUE GAMES.
