I just hope the new press outing from GH isn't his usual round of bingo buzzwords like 'budget', 'all playing football manager', 'fitness', 'at this level', 'if anyone else wants the job', but an honest assessment of his and the team's position.

The GG news may help rally the troops, nothing is permanent in football and all that.

IMO Tom Kearney is possibly the best centre midfielder we have had here since Crainey, at the start of last season prior to Crowell leaving, them two in the midfield together was something i was really looking forward too, he hasn't performed on his return as yet, but i am sure he will come good, and when Kearney finally returns i think we will see the best of him.

So much for the creative midfielder, so many times Crowell hailed as the great white hope and yet to date he  by no means adds anything to the squad. Happy to surge forward play a bit of tippy tappy but left wanting when the sleeves have to rolled up and some decent graft applied.
