Just been watching the tributes to Bobby Robson at Ipswich v Newcastle. Very moving and very much deserved.

I don't think I've known anyone so universally admired and respected in the game.

Maybe some Managers from Premiership to Conference ought to look very hard at themselves when they consider how he behaved irrespective of the circumstances

The guy was a credit to anybody,  be it sport or just in life generally..

A great tribute well deserved...

I remember watching an interview with him after Keegan left Newcastle the first time around and his heart was absolutely wanting to go to NUFC. However he was under contract at Barca as Director of Football or something and he wouldn't break that contract, and didn't.

What a legend.
