the fat lady's not finished singing!

From www.altrinchamfc.co.uk

From no less than an authority than the Football Conference we learn that "Boston United are not guaranteed a place in the newly named Blue Square Premier as they have yet to release details of their entry into a CVA. League standings remain in place until June 7th, when both United and Torquay are due to be replaced by Dagenham and Morecambe in League Two. However United's entry back into non-league cannot be completed until the paperwork from either the club or their administrators, Bartfields, is handed to the Conference chiefs. 'Boston United will remain a member of the Football League until June 7', explained Conference chief executive John Moules. 'However, we have no information regarding their takeover situation or their intention to compete in the division next season. There is nothing more I can say at the moment'".

"Evans & Raynor leave Boston roles

Evans has reluctantly walked away from Boston
Boston United manager Steve Evans and his assistant Paul Raynor have resigned from the club with immediate effect."

So much for promising he will stay!

Trouble at t'mill methinks
