Toulson at Alty "for good" according to the commentators
Vic 1-0 down
-
He also claimed Toulsen played for us in the Trophy game - not a clue. No surprise there!
-
and Peyton is the "York striker"
-
Northwich 1 - 0 down
-
Little on for Cahill (and a we slip up from the announcer!).
Cahill injured!
Meanwhile, Farsley 1 up
-
Do you think its a boring game or is it just the commentator commentating as if he is watching a couple of old ladies going for a walk around the local park?
-
Don't go asking for excitement - after that recent episode I much prefer the dull stuff!
-
Livened up now. Big blow Cahill getting injured.
-
Aaron Burns scores for Vics, but they are 2-1 down.
Droylesden 1 down
-
says York getting more of the game, but BBc says Alty 55%
-
My mate at the game says the commentators are talking bollocks - we are far more in the game than they are suggesting.
Their commentators are sounding especially patronising today (even by their standards!).
-
1-0 little
-
1-0 Little
-
Who said it was a shame Cahill went off ;)
Get in!
-
YESSSSSS! Super sub Colin Little.
Important to not let one in before half time.
-
GET IN!! 1-0 Colin Little....come on!
-
1-0 Alty, scuffed shot from Little. I don't mind though :). Justice coming straight after a 'lancashire' comment.
I said it was a shame Cahill went off, i retract my previous statement ;). Still hope Cahill isn't out for too long.
-
they think Alty is in Lancashire
-
and "York were dominating the game!"
HA!
-
YESSSSSS! Super sub Colin Little.
Important to not let one in before half time.
Yeah, come on, lets get to HT
-
Maybe Col wrong footed their 'keeper on purpose!
-
"They should be 2-1 down"
This prick ended up eating his words after the league game at their place. I hope the same happens again today!
-
flynny's reports for gm radio in the background are much better than this biased drivel . oo they hit the post
-
Bloody hell....they hit the post, come on Alty!
-
york should be leading 3-1 they say now
-
It's hard to gauge when Alty are getting in the game because they just talk nonsense when we are attacking half the time.
-

Now 3-1 !!!
-
HT 1-0
-
Half time!
Well done Alty so far. Keep it going in the second half.
He "didn't see Alty scoring." Despite the possession & the shots.- especially the ones we get on target!
-
348 away fans in the chequers end

348 away fans in the chequers end
Should be over 1000 attendance I would have thought
-
Probably around 1200 I would think
-

Oh My word! This is going better than expected! :) :) ;D
-
Colin Little
-
YESSSSSSS! - looks like Little again - good free kick

-

2-o you arrogant git
oh you wont be doing a droylesden again
-
2-0 GET IN!!! Come on no Salisbury's today lads...
-
Colins confidence must be sky high
-
Worth remembering their talent for coming from 2-0 down of late
-
2-0 GET IN!!! Come on no Salisbury's today lads...
You had to mention Salisbury
-
they are now talking about the ref calling it off
Kidderminster 1-1 now
-
Droylsden 3 down
-
2-0 GET IN!!! Come on no Salisbury's today lads...
You had to mention Salisbury
Sorry, but we are in for 30 minutes of s******g it here!

I've already started!
According the the commentators 2-0 is ideal for York at this stage.
-
Battersby on for King
-
You'd like to think we'd be OK now, but it really does still feel like squeaky bum time...this is far better than could have been expected so far. Come on ALTY.
-
Vics 3-1 down
Goals for Kiddie & Woking would be nice
-
2-1 Woolford
-
2-1 blast
-
2-1 :(
-
Oh sh*t.....here we go
-
Oh bloody hell. Don't do this to us!
I think Panther pounced!
-
2-1...here we go :(
-
A good test of our new guys mentality now. At Salisbury panic set in once we conceeded the first - are me made of sterner stuff this time?
-
Massive defensive cock up apparently.
-
Droylsden 4 down
-
2-2
-
2-2:(
-
Oh NO 2 -2
-
Massive defensive cock up apparently.
Straight after a substitution
And another f***ing goal to York
-
crap
-
Come on Alty, hold it together - I'd still take a point from this one as a good result.
-
2-2 effin hell >:(
-
I wonder what GH is doing just now. I'm surprised we can't hear him.
Patronising git commentators - "Piece of cake!"
-
Come on, would have been more than happy with a point before this one and lets hang on to something now....
-
Why does holding onto a lead always seem akin to shovelling sand with a fork with us?
-
I think I might listen to the rest of this game from the bog
-
altys defence has come apart?
-
On the plus side that implies it was holding together before it fell apart, an improvement on the first half of the season!
-
They are clearly very good though.
-

Very good point.
-
What is it though about the way we concede these goals so close together....we've been doing it all season :(

I'd guess concentration, though the commentators did say the cross was exceptional and very difficult to defend
-
O neil on for senior
-
Joe oneill on
-
O'Neill on for Senior
The ex player scoring syndrome hopefully.
-
I'd guess concentration, though the commentators did say the cross was exceptional and very difficult to defend
Or should that be consternation?
-
Let's have a replay of York away please Joe!
-

I may need constipation!
-
Vics 4-1 down
-
I've just been told by a mate that they are absolutely battering us and a point would be gratefully received.
-
Is it time to mention that I have money on York? Still, come on Alty!!!
-
f**king hell, this is horrible listening!
-
Fingers crossed we don't conceed then.
That sounds close
-
According to Brian Flynn, Woolford alone could have had four.
-
Droylsden 5 down
-
f**king hell, this is horrible listening!
Its total torture!!
-
Sounds like we went close there...come on!
-
lol but that'sAlty
-
They had to make a very good save. Needed a follow up
Result could go either way - we could still win

Good guess earlier
-
Weymouth 1 down to Woking anf Fasley 1-1.
decent day (so far) for Alty
-
3 mins stoppage time
-
We've had the "Got to come to plaves like this & win," line!
-
I don't think we've touched the ball for about 10 minutes
-
2-2 ft Very good point in my opinion.
-
Unusually we took our chances better than the opposition and a great point as a result!
Well done Alty!
-
Phew full time soumds like we were holding on
-
2-2 FT...sounds like we hung on in the end.....will take the point though....
-
Thank goodness that's over, a very welcome point.
-
Jesus H Christ.
Thank God that's over.
Nevertheless - very good result from "Away" specialists and stats say we had more shots on target.
Well done Alty
-
Think we'd have all taken that before KO today, just so disappointing when you have a 2-0 lead.
-
Good point, first time York have come to us and not won apparently, so can't complain.
Still a good new years run, 2 wins, a draw and a loss.
-
"neither side will be happy with a point"
Oh yes we are - letting in two goals in two minutes withy 20 odd minutes to go but we didn't collapse and held on for a point. A significant improvement on earlier in the season.
7 points from 12 this year is a good effort.
Well done Alty!
-
Col "steered in" his first goal - it wasn't flukey after all!
Looks like only Farsley of our rivals get a point - Droylesden & Vics thrashed!
-

Good point BA. Obviously disappointed that we let in 2 in 2 mins after being 2 up...but like you say, with 20 some minutes still to go you'd have thought we'd have probably ended up losing. Certainly I think we would have before Christmas, so got to be happy with the point, we'd have all taken a draw at 3PM.
-
Kiddie late goal v Farsley - we are the only team in the bottom 5 to get a point.
Good result all round
-
Oh yes, last minute pen for Kiddy, you couldn't write the script.
-

That really helps with the disappointment of letting the 2 goal lead slip..we stay out of the relly zone.

York had hatfuls of chances to win it but couldn't get it on target. Once they'd scored it was like they got a real shot of adrenaline and pressed on. Both goals they got looked they they found huge gaps to go through. On a heavy pitch it's not surprising Alty legs got tired. Cahill going off injured early looked like it might be bad as he had been holding up the ball beautifully but Colin Little got the goals so it didn't matter. We had the measure of them until they go the first goal but fitness told in the end. And fortunately York's missed chances. We get a point, everyone around us doesnt. Good result.
-
Great result and one I would have snatched your hand off for prior to kickoff. However, given that their first goal gave them the "shot of adrenalin" to press forward and go for the win, it makes the nature of that goal all the more disappointing.
However, we've come out of today's fixtures better off so I'm definitely not complaining.
-
365 Agree
Stu will not be happy with the first, he had time to come and collect the ball!
Well done lads, keep going.
-
Up to that point the defence hadn't made a single mistake. All I could see from the other end was Stuart rushing to the side of the penalty area for a ball he never got to. When it came over the York man was totally unmarked. In fact their goals looked very similar to the two we got against Kidderminster.
-
As the ball was played through the ball was a good 30m in front of the players, Stu should have collected at the edge of the area.
A real pity, as others have stated they looked ordinary until then.
-
Couldn't complain with the point today. Gutted we threw it away, but the difference really started to show at 60 minutes. Grinded out the point in the end, and the spirit once again shown by the lads on the back foot, you can't fault it. Well done lads
-
One month ago that result just would not have happened. No doubt about it, we'd have lost 4 or 5 nil. We are playing with renewed purpose and new-found confidence and it's great to be able to say that.

Agreed. The 3-1 defeat in the Trophy was the benchmark we had to beat.
-
And we did ;D ;D ;D
-
Little's first goal described as "sweet left footed strike" on BBC - not quite what the radio boys thought!
-
Second one was very sweet.
-
All there is to say, is that was a remarkable game of football played by two teams who desperately wanted to win. 2-2 was the correct result and I'd say that if both teams continue to play like that, we will stay up and York will make the play offs. The substitution of King was a bit iffy to say the least, but I don't want to marr what was a fantastic team performance and a great advert for non league football. That is all.
-
I couldn't see what was achieved by replacing Senior with O'Neill.

Totally agree with this, disappointed to have thrown a way a healthy lead but, on the other hand:
a) I think we would have all settled for a point before the game
b) We were seriously on the back foot after they got the first and any other time in the season, surely would have lost.
And the main positive for me, we looked a changed side out there and the performance as a whole was top.
-
A much improved performace today. For the first 60 mins we looked liked we belong in this league rather than a team boxing above it's weight. York were a very good side and came at us like an express train (coming from York, that shouldn't be suprising) and we did well to hold on at the end despite some very tired legs on a heavy pitch.
Over all far more plusses than negatives - yes it's disapointing to lose a 2 goal lead but if we continue to play like today we will stay up.
