Today's game
« on: January 07, 2017, 05:19:00 PM »

Clee was excellent today. Best player on the pitch by far. Sadly those around him struggle

Jones was strong as well

I can't understand why we don't segregate we need every advantage we can muster. Shocking really

We are weak and lack confidence even against a team who have lost there last 7

Highlight of the day was Kenny singing zigga zagger

Here is to Nantwich

Hadn't seen a game since before Christmas and was expecting more. I thought Jones deserved Mom over 90 mins.

Tragic lack of endeavour in the final third, some dangerous crosses but no-one taking a chance / putting themselves in amongst it.

We're done for and deservedly so....

Totally agree on the segregation,Gloucester fans made loads of noise under the roof and it makes a difference. Clee,Newby,Hannigan,Jones,Deasy all ok,the rest not at the races.

Awful. Badly miss the energy of Richman and direct running of Miller. Tactics were wrong, should have put an extra man in the midfield after 20 mins, they were winning everything.
Clee gave it all, I thought Newby did well in periods. No talking or encouragement on the pitch between the players.
I thought we missed the forward full back play of Paterson and McWilliams.
Created a lot more chances playing wing backs with the extra man in mid which allowed Clee more space.

Because the league doesn't require them to and because plenty of home fans enjoy being able to take advantage of switching ends.  Not that hard a conundrum really.  I'm sure that were the management and players to agree that there was a significant advantage to be had by keeping the away fans in the open, they'd impose segregation.

And that's the point.  There is a huge advantage in segregating. It keeps the away fans from being behind the goal they are shooting towards 2nd half and it also makes them unable to make more noise due to the fact they don't have a roof over them. It also keeps more home fans together rather than spreading into chequers. A fair few advantages really.

you make a very pertinent point here . The communication and encouragement on the pitch is beyond poor

Compared to the last 2 away games we lacked passion today. We were lack luster. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Too many players not at the races today.

If you didn't allow away fans into the ground at all, it would probably make absolutely no difference.
