Title: Alty to go full time next season
Post by: Jezza on April 01, 2010, 06:09:44 AM
Personally I think this is the right decision, most fans have been calling for Alty to spend big regardless of the consequences.

Not sure who should be manager but I'd like to see us bring in someone with a proven track record of success on a shoestring....like Steve Evans....but I'd also like to see a Vaughan/Pace dream team take over at Moss Lane.

La Roof Lip as we say in France!

Why change the manager? Graham has done a brilliant job with no money.

I would go for David  Holdsworth as Manager, with Dean Saunders as Chairman, to keep a watch on the money situation. The present staff have clearly shown themselves to be not up to the job.
A change of ground is also called for, maybe relocate to ground share with Northwich.

...and Colin Peake to be our Press Secretary.  No offense to the current incumbent, but there's only one man for the job.

I think we should ground share with Macc since the BBC already think we play there. We could sell Moss Lane for housing, thus realising the dream that John Maunders had throughout his time on the board, sack Graham and bring in Mark Hughes as manager (tactics wouldn't need to be changed !), and sign experienced top class pros such as Frank Sinclair.

See you all at Shawe View or Valley Road.................
