And then, with his playing days finished, he tells why he still feels aggrieved at being sacked from his first job in non-league management at hard-up Altrincham in 2001.

Pitty ! could have been a great manager :). The alty pitch was a mud bath during his reign which spoiled his passing game, a fiesty character easily wound up by the odd Dennis outburst from the popular side  ;D Good luck to him.

his passing game was far too fussy for the players he had available. they simply didn't have the technical ability, and when it clearly wasn't working he was too stubborn to change it.
