Was the Whitaker sending off for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity (please don't anyone use the expression "last man") or was it for a dangerous challenge as his foot was somewhere up around Simon Richman's chest? Much as I thought yesterday Simon wasn't exactly through on goal when fouled and there were covering defenders.

In a way I hope it was for a dangerous challenge - the other possible explanation simply doesn't hold water!
