Anybody any objections if I start off the John McAlisky chant at the next match, should he score.

Depending on you all to join in, rather than an embarrasing silence, but not sure if I have been gagged for ever after that previous email thread vis-a-vis the Xmas party!! Promise not to do the dance.

Just think that maybe John McAlisky could do with some encouragement, but self conscious about starting songs off at matches.

Any comments, preferably not too derogatory, or leave well alone?

No mate, I was (as usual) the only one to tell you that it was not the best idea to try and choreograph a dance on the terrace.

You'd don't need to fill out a form to start a chant mate...just do it!

Can't be more embarassing than doing an american dance in a room full of football fans and players!

Once you've done that mate...the rest is childs play!

I disagree. Some proper organisation and adminstration is needed.
All those willing to participate in the chant should notify the relevant authorities in writing and must commit to a given decibel level and timespan.

.... or not.

I am sick of these uncoordinated chants.  Or chant / singing customer experience could be improved by 15% if chantes were sung at an agreed rate, in an agreed order.  This would avoid all this variance we suffer from so badly and allow us to make planned chanegs with an expected outcome.

or something.

JUST DO IT. ITS THE FOOTY.

drums.  god no.

there was a drum brought to moss lane once by an Alty - i'm going to say 12 years ago.  it was smashed to bits.  It was one of those irish type drums as I remember.

we are a drum free zone!

I used to be quite tolerant of drums. However, it seems that the staunchly anti-drum position held by many Alty fans has made me become more hardline.

I was at a friends house and I noticed that there was a drum in the corner. No one was playing the drum but just the thought that someone might was more than I could handle. Before long the urge was too much; I marched over to the drum and gave it a huge kick. It was completely broken, no one could ever play it again.

Of course, my friendship is now ruined and I had to compensate him for the loss of the drum. Nevertheless, the knowledge that there is one fewer drum in the world (at least temporarily) made it all worth while.

Ah yes, you mean a lambeg drum as would be played on the 12th of July?

Quite like those on the correct occasions, but as you say, football just isn't the time or place.
