I think this might turn out to be a really good signing. Apparently under Little Wrexham played hoofball and Kearney rarely had a chance to get into the game. When Saunders arrived, he simply didn't give the lad a chance (probably the obsession with having 'his team' taking over). He was highly rated and Halifax and I think he'll do a good job.

Best of luck Tom.

Looks like his sister is a famous actress!

Who can identify one of the all time classic lines that she had in one of her roles?

The Press Release has just been issued so it should be on the website shortly.

She, along with everyone else, had a few in Shameless. What are you thinking of?

So playing debbie McGrath then?

Either in Brookside or Damon and Debbie (which was set where for a bonus point)

No...it wasn't Brookside or Damon & Debbie.

I'm afraid I am stumped for the bonus point....but I guess that it was somewhere in Merseyside, therefore I will plump for Runcorn.

So, 20 years ago she'd have been about 16, 17 maybe.

We're either in Brookie or Waterside Beat from what I recall.

No give up

Oh and Debbie & Damon was set in York to where the young lovers ran away, Debbie got Pregnant (future complications in Brookie as she was under age, diabetic and part of a very strict Catholic family) and Damon got stabbed to death (as Simon O'Brien was leaving)

It's Shirley Valentine. She played the young Shirley. On her last day at school each departing student was given a public debrief by the headmistress.Shirley's  debrief was in the 'needs improvement' category & her retort was "Well tickle my tits till friday!"

They don't make them like they used to!
