I think this might turn out to be a really good signing. Apparently under Little Wrexham played hoofball and Kearney rarely had a chance to get into the game. When Saunders arrived, he simply didn't give the lad a chance (probably the obsession with having 'his team' taking over). He was highly rated and Halifax and I think he'll do a good job.

No...it wasn't Brookside or Damon & Debbie.

I'm afraid I am stumped for the bonus point....but I guess that it was somewhere in Merseyside, therefore I will plump for Runcorn.

Oh and Debbie & Damon was set in York to where the young lovers ran away, Debbie got Pregnant (future complications in Brookie as she was under age, diabetic and part of a very strict Catholic family) and Damon got stabbed to death (as Simon O'Brien was leaving)
