Has Tom Kearney officially left the club ?.

Only he is not on the team photo, he does not have a squad number, and there is no mention of him in the players section on the official website. However, it does not say he has left either.

I have heard a rumour that he might be emigrating to the USA.

If all this is true, it sounds like he's off. If so it'll be a shame, he had a really good 2/3 of a season before the awful injury.

I wondered this as well, given that it is noted that Holsgrove was missing from the pic, no mention of Tom at all.

I believe Tom was at Lilleshall week or so ago with Matty undergoing rehab work, but also heard his wife maybe has also been offered job in US, it doesnt sound good but GH cant wait around hoping as Tom may well be 3 months away yet from fitness anyway. I'm sure we would all be happy to see Tom back and playning well,...if we can afford him :-\

Another thing I thought is have we not signed a few too many players with the budget we have if we are keeping Tom?

In all fairness, we've more or less recruited on a one out, one in basis. The Premier League money will have made a huge difference too, I would have thought.

I'm sorry to say it looks like Tom won't be back with us, at least for the foreseeable future.

Think we've signed too many midfield players to expect Kearney back.

I have a feeling that we have seen the last of Tom in an Alty shirt..

Rumours that he and his wife are moving to the US are probably well founded.

A great pity, because he was a class act last season before Sinclair maimed him. However, he was probably on bigger money than some, and personally I'm happy with the squad we've now assembled. If Tom IS headed Stateside I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing him every success, and thanking him for his brief but much appreciated stint at Moss Lane.

When Tom gets fit and if he's not going to the USA I can quite easily think of 3 or 4  that I'd happily let go to free up his wages
