what are the chances of becoming a feeder club for a team like Wigan, so we can get some of their reserves on loan for free.

Don't even go there.

As far as I'm concerned, Alty is Alty is Alty and once you start to do things like that you lose your identity.

(Besides that, when I first started going to ML, Wigan 'pathetic' were almost as big in the rival stakes as Macc or even the Green Gets  ::) ::) :o :o)

P.S. The afterthought was (semi) tongue-in-cheek!

I don't think that a partnership of Joe O'Neill and Emile Heskey would complement each other.....

No not Wigan our rivals  as big if not bigger than Macc or Northwich Vics,funny never looked upon Witton Albion as rivals though.It used to be good going to Witton their ground was behind a Picture House so could alwats watch a film if the game was very bad.Would not mind feeder for City though,but not the red bums
