Tamworth lose appeal regarding keeper
« on: April 29, 2011, 08:33:09 PM »

Tamworth had appealed the Conference's decision not to allow them to sign an emergency keeper, due to injuries to their current duo.

The conference decision (surely without Mr Peake's intervention??) decided Tamworth would not be allowed to sign a keeper for their final game against FGR.

Apparently, the FA have upheld this decision, and Tamworth will play their relegation decider with an outfield player between the sticks.

Lump on FGR to win then...

9-1 FGR to win both halves on Paddy Power, got to be worth £5

Looks like the gaffers in net,

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13238614.stm

This Dale Belford chap is the father of Cameron Belford, the Bury keeper who was punched at Chesterfield  the other day.
He is also Kyle Perry's cousin!

No Ray, he only dives when he can't get to the ball (which is often !)
