Chester 2 Gatehead 1. Gateshead down to 10 men after 18 mins and Chester took lead before Gateshead equalised. Chester wrapped up the game late on. FT

Of course the attendance was really 1494 and not 994..............that's 500 'ticket sales' that can go straight into the clubs pocket for a rainy day and will not attract any corporation tax.

Alternatively the cash could be used to supplement playing staff wages and dodge other liabilities
