Fingers crossed this doesn't turn into a bun fight.  A great opportunity for all of Alty FC to get together and talk things over, to understand where we are on / off the park and of course to get everybody focused on how we stop this rot, get some points and progress.

Food for thought: would it be good for questions from exiles to be sent to Brian Flynn/Compare. That way exiles can have their questions for Jim answered?

I totally agree that there need to be more meetings like this, not necessarily always involving management, but definitely as a formal way of maintaining contact between the board and supporters. The communication between "club" and supporters has obviously broken down quite severely and that is a very unhealthy situation. I am not going to get involved in trying to apportion blame, but I do feel that, whoever is leading the club, there needs to be an open dialogue and for all parties concerned to be able to show a little bit of humility and ability to compromise.

One thing is for certain - this club is not going to make any significant progress while we are at war with one another. Let's hope this meeting marks a fresh start and gets everyone pulling in the same direction again.

there once was a famous team called Alty
But then things started to go faulty
Even the chips became too salty
We were heading for a fall
Some blamed the community hall

We had a man called Lee
When he departed the fans were in glee
But then came along 2 Neil's
And the fans began to squeal
We started to lose mass appeal

Soon we will playing in oblivion
Praying for the conference north again

Really it's a win we lust

So in Jim we have to trust

The mighty Robins' wings are clipped,
And down the League we've quickly slipped.
Bad manager and injury curse,
We wonder "can it get much worse ?"
We really have to ship some out
To bring some in, there is no doubt.
Jim Harvey's come to save some face
And spare us from complete disgrace.
It really is a thankless task
To try to give us all we ask,
But, please, let's get behind the bloke
Before we're just a total joke.

Questions for Jim

1. Are you working with the budget young had and reliant on tidying his mess up based on shipping out? Or have the board given you enough funds to do your job
