Shame to see Sinnott go. Thought he had a good season considering he was playing most out of position. Also suprised to see Luca go think he is a solid defender at conference north level. Think he will do well wherever he goes

Jordan improved a lot once his dad left and he was pushed further forward, but in truth it was time for him to go.

Displaying his usual managerial trait. Get rid of the majority and to quote the poster on the Chester forum, "chop and change until he's happy with the balance".
I just hope his dealings in the transfer market are better this summer than they were at County last year.

I'm sad to see some of the lads go but...... this is the hard arsed face of management where big decisions are made and I'm glad to see NY is getting stuck in to his new task with  gusto.

I think lawrie is good when played behind a front one.

I always think Lawrie was rarely played in his best position.

And where would that be Ray ? He's unarguably got talent, but he's rubbish with a dead ball, and for every top drawer performance he'll throw in three or four mediocre efforts, and an absolute stinker.

My point about Lawrie is that he got overly comfortable under Sinnott. Neil Young strikes me as the kind of manager that won't allow it. Under that kind of manager I think we could see a better player. Time will tell.

Lawrie?  One of the most inconsistent soft players. He better put several rockets up his arse. Gutted about Clee, I would have seen if he could have got back fit as even in his last appearance at Chester when half fit he was still destroying players until his groin snapped. I would have kept Luca too because he is decent alongside Leather, they just never played much together last season. Still a decent defender but maybe on a high wage. The rest are correct decisions.

Lawrie is such a frustrating "luxury" player, loads of ability but cant keep the ball and lacks concentration. So often he loses the ball in dangerous positions and his delivery is shocking at times.

However, he is young, fit always tries hard, runs well with the ball at feet and maybe Neil Young could be the man to get the best out of him?

He will do better at CN level but his best position seems to be central behind the striker(s) as he has two good feet so he can go either way which always makes defending more difficult.

Definitely not on the wing Phil. I always thought Sinnot played him wherever he needed a gap filling in the formation. I haven't been enough times this season but over the years I've rated him. I'm assuming NY knows him better tactically than Sinnot did.

Not been offered a contract, but that is his best position

I am really sad about Nicky Clee going, one of my favorite players to have played for Alty. So skilful and always brought a buzz to the ground when he got the ball, so many happy memories.

We will see him again I have no doubt, probably when we play Harrogate, Dens better watch out when we do.

Gutted about Nicky. Think he'd be an asset especially in the North
