Glad to be chosen, but away again!
-
Good for ST holders; one less game to buy.
-
Are BT scared of the north?
All the home games we have and we get chosen for an away one!

Perhaps they are deterred by our moribund pitch and the resulting uncertainty as to if/where the game would be played?

Don't get Alan Partridge started!
That is actually a reasonable point, but would still like to see them make the effort to come up north (maybe they are scared of whippets!)

BT Sport have never shown a live league game played at Moss Lane. Setanta only ever showed one when they had the rights, although I think we had a game postponed which had been earmarked for live coverage.

Am I dreaming this, I am sure I remember a home game with Stalybridge ( possibly) about 30 years ago on a TV station called Wire or Sportswire TV. Bizarrely I seem to recall the summariser being Alan Kennedy.
Does anyone else remember this. It was a rubbish match that may well have finished goalless on a wet, windy evening.

It’s on YouTube. We won 1-0 with a Terry penalty.

Was it Setanta who broadcast our 2-2 home draw with Woking in the late noughties?

I think it was.

I do remember the Barnet match in the 90/91 season being covered by Sportscast or someone like that. If they had BT sport for that one, the whole of Altrincham would have been like dynamite in the pubs.

Yes, that's the game I was thinking of. They were also due to show our Boxing Day derby against Vics, but it was called off.

We were live on Sky at home Stevenage about 15 years ago, and I seem to remember us entertaining Barrow live as well.

They were both away games. Stevenage was on Setanta and Barrow was on Premier Sports TV after Setanta ceased broadcasting in the UK.

BT have covered a game at Hartlepool. At least they are not worried about being mistaken for monkeys, even if they are scared of whippets.
I am sure our pitch must be a factor, although, as a season ticket holder, I would be concerned about being unable to view a game I have paid for, as I don't have BT, while fans are prevented from attending.

Are we sure we've still got a pitch? Seriously though, I would think it is drying out nicely now. Most of the lakes down Dunham way have reverted to being fields so fingers crossed for some good games at Moss Lane in March

Overnight rain has cleared now, so pitch until next Tuesday can recover as no rain forecast. Hopefully Kings Lynn will turn up..

Be a bit crowded if they do. Isn't it Woking next week?

It is, my apologies.

Are Kings Lynn still playing? I think their chairman was only comitting to Saturday. Perhaps he's had a change of heart
