I'll not shed a tear for peake, but does anyone remember when John maunders went about alienating/removing volunteers from their long held roles at moss lane in 1994? Looks all to similar to me.I bet for however much he's disliked here, that mr peake wil be one of the first in the que to help pick up the pieces in the aftermath...

I'll be raising a glass to the obnoxious sneaky f##cker tonight.  I'll never forget his actions in the James Robinson affair.

That said Pete is absolutely right, it does sound like a Maunders type action.

Wonder if he will bring a steward in to watch the fans with binoculars...

As one of the volunteers so treated by Mr Maunders and his accolytes I recall it all to well (and painfully)

I also agree that when it all goes the shape of the pear Mr Peake will be at the front of the queue of those volunteering to keep the whole thing in one piece
