Very very upset at this. he was so happy in telling me that he had beaten it, quite recently and was looking forward to getting back to full health. I looked for him on Sunday in the Sports Hall but presumed he was busy elsewhere on a Sunday.
Lovely man
RIP Peter, I will miss you x

A more genuine friend of football you couldn't wish to meet.

Sad loss, great bloke. Will be sadly missed.

He'd hate this thread, as he hated being called Warby. But genuinely one of the nicest guys I've met at the club, was smiling and laughing as he told people about his health, a sad loss. RIP Pete

Can't echo Scotty's words enough!! Proper nice fella and a really nice family too. He was one of the first fellas I met in non league when I went to Winsford with Dalton Steele nearly 20 years ago and someone I regarded as a good friend ever since. One of non leagues true gentlemen who will be sorely missed.. RIP Mate.
