In his column in Tuesday's Robins' Review, Graham Heathcote wrote: "I see that the board of directors of the Conference is proposing to get approval from the FA to put in place a rule that will automatically relegate a club who have to enter into administration or any kind of insolvency. I believe this is a brave but very correct move. The 10 point deduction is not a strong enough deterrent... I heard this week of a club who are deep in financial trouble already, allegedly giving a player at our level £900 per week - financial suicide, yes! But more precisely a disregard for the future survival of the club... This change of rule could be the saviour of so many clubs. We should all be grateful that we saw the light just in time. We could so easily have been one of those clubs who have already been demoted...Everyone would do well to remember this and that is why life is still so difficult [here]". "

I hope they can put this measure in place, it sickens me the way some football clubs are run. I'm glad were nothing like it.

No sarcasm on my part. Heard a rumour when they signed him he was being paid big money in the region of 800 a week plus travellin expenses.
