How long is it since we had a home tie?
2010 in 4QR v Gateshead; 2011 in 2QR v Witton.
And they both went well didn't they! Since I've been bringing my son to Alty games he's seen 3 cup games and we've lost them all. We're hoping that this season might change that unfortunate record.

Here's a cheery fact: we haven't won an FA Cup match at Moss Lane for over a decade.
Top trumping your cheeriness, we've also only won 1 home FA Trophy match since we beat Barrow 1-0 in 2004/05.

Good job we can rely on the Senior Cup for knockout joy.

That Gateshead game, along with the rushden game, the Mansfield and the tamworth game, became a staple altrincham fa cup experience. Then we had the witton game, finally some cup cheer with the run to burton, then a return to type last season. I'd be happy to play as lower ranked team as possible for as long as possible simply for the money. If it has to be short lived, then edge past someone and go to bradford city in an emotional return for the gaffer and bow out at home in a replay on TV. I bet lee would fancy a game against port vale...

FFS! That's actually amazing.

I knew we were awful, but not that awful. It's amazing anyone bothers to turn up!

Not sure I would after the scenes last time we played them in the cup.

Still regionalised for now, isn't it?

In which case, a trip to Stoke would be good to play Norton United.

Indeed, I just know some people are interested in it as a whole so I left all the teams in there. In terms of teams below us, anywhere but Blyth.

I want to avoid Colwyn Bay - a few years away from that club may ease the tensions that exist off the pitch, if not on it.  Actually I'd be happy if we never played them again.
