Alas, there was only room for one of them.

Is Lewis the right choice or would Chadwick have been better? Difficult to tell from the RR commentaries.

Was Chadwick's fitness an issue?

Obviously I wish Lewis every success at Alty, but I was impressed with Matt in recent games and I'm sorry he's going. He'll no doubt come back with another club and show us what we could have had.

Sorry to see Chadwick go after a solid pre-season but I'm excited by the signing of Walters. It could also mean that, for the first three games of the season, we may see Arnold in the #10 role with Walters on the left. That excites me.

After the Fylde game I also felt that Arnold as a number 10 could be the answer. He has the intelligence and creativity to play there.

PP makes very few mistakes. Lewis seemed to get on well with the other lads and certainly looked fit to go. Only time will tell if it was a good call. I think Chadders will end up at Curzon.

Noticed too how many playing options we have, and on-field formations. Very adaptable for each game, we just do our homework and set up shop accordingly. Way to go!

one of those players who makes an instant impact....a great signing...welcome Lewis...that's a really encouraging interview from him and good to hear ash hemmings thought so well of us......Nathan will have to work hard to keep his place.

A great shame about chadwick who deserved a place and looked really good this pre season but we basically now have almost too many options....he will be an asset to any club who picks him up
