"And is there a divine right that says Alty cannot have two players capable of scoring more than ten goals a season"

Didn't realise the season finished on 18th November. Best tell the Missus that we can do fun things on weekends for the next 9 months. Good to know we've stayed up as well  ;D ;D

oh come on Darren you are all jobworths  ;D ;D

PS; PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take that as a joke as it is intended, you know it wouldn't be me if I didn't comment

You know deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep down I know all stewards no matter at what football club are doing a sterling job and without them a football match would not be able to take place.

Surely any injury at the football club is not the responisbility of the football club, unless the stand falls in or something drastic like that.

I'm sure you can't sue if people are messing about. Thats their choice to run around, not the football clubs.

I think that maybe some construction ideas should come from this ? I think it was a good idea to invite kids but maybe some of the people who were 'put out' by their attendance should suggest ideas on how the club can improve the experience for everyone.

I personally think the children are the parents\guardians responsibilty and they should be warned about behaviour by club officiails, just as anyone else would be.

I bring them with me to every game. They live in my big red 'Flag Bag"  so I don't forget them ;)

Grab me (but don't grip too hard) at a game. If I am there, then so our the progammes.

Only a problem if we have no one next to him ?

We are Altrincham FC. We are not going to have two prolific strikers on the books. We are very lucky with Colin Little and if Joe and he can get a partnership going then all very good. It was good to finally see Mr Thomson get on also.

2196
Of course getting an extra 100 people who will have bought drinks, food , maybe programmes or a little momento from the day is of no benefit to the club ?

People complain the club does not promote itself and when they do they get heckled. No one forced the kids and parents to come it was THEIR CHOICE. You also can not vet who you give tickets to. Imagine the uproar if Altrincham FC said "You can have one you look like a nice lad but you can't because your a moaning girl."

I actually say WELL DONE to the club for going into the local community and raising the profile of the club.

I believe that Children are the future ....

what a ludicrous suggestion.

Thought I'd just join in with one of my own as I'm reading enough on here  ;)

Reason he loses it is because the support is not quick enough to him. Do you really expect him to hold the ball up and cross his arms whilst he waits for others ? Suppose you think he should just pass it pointlessly into space and give it away that way rather than trying to wit for others ?

He is officially the new Jason Gallagher, plenty of poor performers yesterday and he just get singled out straight away and predictably so.

As I said I thought he did ok and he was actually singled out from a mate of mine who has no connection with Alty so that must say something. Probably that he is not being pre-judged before he even plays in our eyes.

I get the feeling people are enjoying him not scoring and love knocking his confidence.

Haven't we had this debate about the goalscoring ? Can only say so many times that he's there as a forward \ target man and NOT a striker.

I don't think just because he likes a player he should be playing in the Premiership ? Its odd that you would even think that. I like a fair few alty players but doubt they could walk into a Premiership side.

I thought Peyton did ok and would have been in my top 3 for man of the match. I thought Lewis and Bush would have been in with a chance but Lewis probably only cos of the goal too be honest, whereas Bush was just his usual commanding self.

To quote my mate, who watches Premiership football
"Who's your number 12, he's a class player, shame no one else can get up to support him'

He was surprised that he gets so much stick. I explained its due to his lack of goals which he replied he looks like a target man who has no one with him.

He actually singled out O'Neill as one of the good players.

When you read this think about the goals he's going to score today
As you leave your house\flat\caravan\tent think of that wonder strike in the 56th minute
As you walk \ Drive \ Run \ Hop \ Train \ Metrolink \ Cycle to Moss Lane think of the joy on his face as he slots in at the Golf Road End
Think of the celebration as he runs towards the crowd and hugs every last ones of us.

Its going to happen. so come on people think positvely about the boy O'Neil and he WILL score.

COME ON ALTY

 ;D or :'( - ITS UP TO YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;)

I know there was talk of them going semi full time, I love that idea so mad but I think you are right. Don't think they bothered.

Either way you should be able to field a team at this level without having to get loan players. How many players did we have a out a couple of months ago and we managed it. He's only moaning about 3 for gods sake.

Maybe he should look at his own abaility as a manager if he can't field a team.
