Should we manage it tomorrow, it's worth reminding ourselves that the last time we finished 4th, 29 years ago...
There were no playoffs
Macc Town were champions
Of the 21 clubs in the league:
- Only one, Stevenage, is now a Football League club.
- Five, including us, are National League.
- Nine are in leagues below us.
- Seven have either folded and reformed as phoenix clubs or folded and disappeared altogether.

Gateshead and Halifax are almost in the same positions as well !

This is my earliest memory of the GM Vauxhall Conference - so I'll always consider these teams the 'proper' Conference clubs. Probably why I'd much rather had Kidderminster stay up than the likes of Boreham Wood.

We beat them away 5-2, probably the 94/95 season, although that doesn’t really qualify as an exceptional result.

I notice they have a “ Former players who turned out to be wrong uns” thread.
There must be quite a few ex-Alty players, and maybe a manager that could qualify for that.
