Does this mean our three loanees from last season will not be playing, Hugill, Aljofre and Oyedele?

Thought they would still be in the USA?

I believe Hugill is still over there but the other two might make an appearance.

All three were in the squad for the Wrexham game.

Well done boys. Thought Angus looked a huge threat when he came on and added a different outlet to Linney. Clean sheet and no injuries. We are ready, bring on the Daggers. How good was their CM with the long hair (number 12???). What a player! Full of energy, great feet and reads the game well. One for us to snap up if available.

I thought Justin Amaluzor was superb today. I loved how their right back tried to shoulder him off the ball, but simply bounced off him and ended up on the deck, while Justin just carried on with his plans. Loved the bubble of laughter from the Alty fans too.

Our keeper and defence were solid too, think fingers crossed we may have sorted ourselves out at the back. Suspect teams may have difficulty scoring against us, or I hope!!. All players on the pitch played well and we gave them a good game, plus two well-taken goals. Impressed with our keeper too. Ready for the season now, me and the team, well done lads.

Amazing what happens when you don’t play with a pretend goalkeeper

Couldn't go today, but sounds like we're ready.

Heard that Justin Amaluzor caused them huge problems.

Looking forward to getting going now.

I only hope that Dagenham's defenders are as charitable next Saturday!

I only hope that Dagenham's defenders are as charitable next Saturday!

Yoan Zouma has left Dagenham and Redbridge, so perhaps not, although that may be bad news for the feline population if he is angry at being released.

I am happy, anyway. We look so much more secure at the back, while Justin Amaluzor, who has previously shown the capacity to get in a good shot while having an otherwise quiet game, had a superb game today, as others have said.
