With three of them in the draw there was always a good chance! What an odd state of affairs...

Is this the original Vics?
-
What ground would it be at ?

The irony that yoiu could get Northwich playing Northwich and it still wouldn't be a derby!

Travesty what has happened to them. I googled it to remind myself of how it all panned out ( http://www.theguardian.com/football/david-conn-inside-sport-blog/2012/apr/03/northwich-victoria-northern-premier-drill-field ).
They were a club of similar size to us and a proper derby and I wish they were still going.
Fond memories of us getting chased down the platform when waiting for the train home after one game, must have been between 87 and 89. I had to jump off the end and I ripped my cords ( they were in fashion then honestly they were) from virtually top to bottom and I was dreading telling my Mum. Even at the new ground it was still good even if not the same.
Can't see it being quite the same in Flixton...

Not many pubs around the Valley Road ground......maybe one within walking distance, but a decent social club inside the ground and no problem parking at the ground...........been a few times to watch Flixton when they were a going concern

Yes gents good times those were, Hopefully us at 74 can get back to play you in a league derby but probably not anytime soon.

Don't know about others, but I certainly consider 1874 as the 'real' V*cs.
Although as Mr McKay of Porridge fame said (in that case about prisoners) "I treat them all the same - they're equally despicable!" :D
