I know this is very off topic but I've just been listening to an interview with Mark Halsey on Radio 5 Live and I've got to say this guy is an absolute inpiration to anybody suffering from a  serious illness and to people in general. Not only has he recovered from cancer himself but his wife is also suffering from leukeamia and together they have shown tremendous strength in the face of adversity.

I wish him luck with his return to refereeing and his (and his wife's) continued battle to return to full health.

Just listened to the same interview.

What he and his wife has gone through puts everything else into perpsective.

Good luck to them both.

He's got a Football League Appointment very soon, I think at Accrington.

All power to his elbow (and any other parts too) A real inspiration as has already been said

Totally agree. True inspiration. He had a leicester reserve match the other week and there is a petition on facebook to get him to ref the FA cup final. Not something I would mind seeing either as i always thought he was a good ref.
