I love reading these but its not the alty I know,  for me its a case of when we weren't much good and tried the best to ruin your weekend.  I missed the 1991 season due to uni and really got back into them during the unibond years. away at bishop auckland, spennymore, lancaster city , bamber bridge, always losing to a 40yrd shot from a defender away at chorley or ashton utd.  Can we have a new series based on these years to make supporters appreciate where we are now.


It's all still too painful...!

Some of us more sensitive souls are still receiving counselling for the post traumatic stress resulting from those wilderness year in the Unibond League.

How about this for a distressing and catastrophic start to a season (2002/03):

Harrogate Town (H): 0-4;

Vauxhall Motors (A): 0-4;

Hucknall Town (A): 1-4.
