TV and soap stars will take to the hallowed turf of Moss Lane on Sunday, July 19 to play the Manchester United Oldboys for charity.

Morson have organised the all-star match at Altincham FC’s ground to raise money for the SeaShell Trust and Leukaemia Research.

Account manager Jan Wilcox said: “We need to get the local community in Altrincham behind us on the day to raise as much money for charity as possible.”

The All Star team consists of actors from Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Pheonix Nights and Dream Team.

The Man Utd Old Boys side consists of Denis Irwin, Clayton Blackmore, Alan Ritchie, Lee Martin and David May.

The game starts at 1pm and admission is £5 for adults, £2.50 for children or £12 for a family of four.
