Big day for them tomorrow...........Seems that too many promotions over a short space of time may cost them big style.

my nephew plays for their U12s and I have to say they do a hell of a lot in the community.  Obvious to me that they grew too fast, it would be a real loss to their local area if their community activities were ceased.

Don't give an arse about their senior sides...

Administration and ppoints deduction - that should be all too familiar to people in Leeds

Farsley do have a point in appealing this decision as they are in the same position as Northwich who won their case. The fact that the Conference has held its line is a direct challenge to the FA's farciical decision. Argy Bargy time at Soho Square irrespective of the result of the appeal.

The Conference are maybe being seen to be applying their own rules - even if this creates turmoil within the BSN. They are fed up of clubs who see payment of debts as optional rather than as an obligation.

So, let's say it goes to appeal and Farsley are reprieved but start on -20 (?) points. Result is relegation at the end of the season..........job done (and fair enough too) as far as the Conference are concerned.

where does the 20 point fine come from?  Unliess it is stated in the rule book or has a precedent then that won't happen.  Correction, should not happen.  All this goes to show that the rules about finances are a mess, a total shambles.

The rules make this a more complicated matter then it should be.

Clarity reads something like

adminstration during the playing season = auto. relegation at the end of the season.

Admin between the end of the playing season and AGM = auto relagation & 10 poiint deduction

admin after AGM = auto relegation to the highest places league willing toa ccpet the relagated club.

The 20 point deduction is a total guess........hence the question mark I inserted after the number 20

I think though that you have got the rules spot on in the post.......there only appear to be three options, but where does this leave Farsley.....probably the Bradford and Guiseley Sunday Combination !

Farsley given a reprieve, now staying in BSN.

The conference are at least consistent in being inconsistent. They'll probably give us the 18 points back from the Robinson affair soon, might come in handy next season.
