Leadership on the pitch

When we start well and take the lead the team functions really well, leadership isn't a tough task..

We have some talented players

BUT..

when we are not firing on all cylinders, making mistakes, everyones head drops... at 1 ni down I don't see a leader energising and motivating the rest of the team.. it's all too quiet.

So, we need a scary skipper.. asap

I've always thought Robbie Lawton was the perfect man for the job to be honest.

Quite agree. We want to win matches by outplaying and outclassing the opposition but when it starts to look like that's not going to happen, we don't seem to have the appetite to grind out a result.

I know Tolson is registered as a player and I don't know how much of a last resort that's seen as, but if there's no leadership couldn't he get on in the second half and try to influence things a bit?

If we have to result to a 37 year old assistant manager who has signed on for desperate needs just to inject some leadership then we really are deep sh1t.

So far this season, we have failed to win a single game during which the opposing team has scored the first goal.

We certainly have a Plan A.

And when it works, it all looks marvellous.

However, when Plan A fails, there appears to be no Plan B whatsoever.
