Jim should not have been sacked by a gutless Chairman who panicked and then appointed his mates.

If Neil Young was still in charge we'd have more points on the board.

Harvey signed BPA's 2nd choice left back. Doughty signed a striker that had been dropped from Stalybridges starting line-up.

Neil Young had form for his strategy in putting a squad together, he even said he'd do it when he joined. I can't see how he can be held responsible. The board gave him the job, it starts and stops with them. It was the board who started this by allowing Sinnott to go without having a proper plan in place.

The board are responsible for his catastrophic appointment. He is responsible for the catastrophic recruitment and team selection.

He has gone. The board must too.

The catalyst for this shambles was appointing Tolson, arguably even before then when Goodwin was replaced by a man who didn't have the football club at heart.

The Rowley's have for years given their time for the love of the club.....I don't think they can be accused of not caring about the club.

Their idea and or competency of/in directing the club is what is in question.....

Power corrupts though and Grahame should do what is in the club's long term and short term interest.....

I disagree on the second part I feel Graham loves this club very much and does care he puts a lot into it. however sadly quality recruitment and public relations are not his strengths

Sadly most football chairman are absolutely convinced their often bizarre actions are taken with the best interests of the club at heart and they all seem utterly unshakeable in their stubborn conviction that they are the best man for the job......takes a big man to admit they may be getting it wrong...

Agree with that. Sadly, those strengths are vital for a successful chairman and they have been badly lacking.
