I remember writing a year ago that 2015 had been a year of unrelenting misery.
It actually managed to be worse this year!!

Its given me an Anus horribillis and i've hardly been to a game. Will be in Moston though in a few days and that really will make my backside twinge as I dont hold any hope of anything other than another defeat to start the next year off!

A quick review of the year ...

Lee loses interest and does not strengthen the squad for the run in ... leaves with us still able to Stay up

We bring in neil t who was part of the original issue rather than a new face .. we go down

We bring in neil young who went on record saying he would never return to football after stockport.  Fans were vocal of how poor he was . We had Danny higgy who played under him but was never asked his opinion . He has a mass clear out and on the whole brought in worse players .

He leaves footfall... again ...

Fans are attacked publicly for abuse to neil .. no more detail ever released

The fans choice Jim comes in but sadly makes very little impact.  We struggle to attract players as we are looking destined for a second relegation

The new stand in management comes into place whilst we look to bring in a new leader

1 win all season 4 all year

We are informed we are thriving and have lots of cash in the bank

Here is to 2017

Not sure why we'd ask Danny Higginbothams opinion tbh but apart from that it's a reasonable review.

He played for us and has watched us since he was a kid and Is known to the board.  He knew neil and could give advice. Why not ask him ?

Because he would have told Rowley that Young's a lunatic and so possibly helped us avoid the most catastrophic managerial appointment in our history?

Yep, its wha we call in the normal world as taking up references.

Not just the ones volunteered.

I don't disagree with taking up references,we should do that as standard. My point was why Danny Higginbotham? Surely any ex Chester or Stockport player could've been contacted and not just DH in particular because he played 2 games for us a few years ago.
