Always a close affair, I can see it being a 1-1 draw, Reeves the scorer for us.

Since the 4-1 in around 1994 has there been a good southport-alty game?
I recall several real shockers in that time.

A 2-0 win at Moss Lane in 2005 is the only time I've ever bet on an Alty win (went for an Alty, Grays double).

I remember a 1-1 draw at Haig Avenue, a last minute equalizer from Talbot, 2004?? I would be happy with a similar result on Saturday.

I remember us winning there in about 1996, I think it was Danny McGoona's debut. I think it was 3-1 or 3-2 and Chris Sharratt was playing for them.

I could live with it being a shocker if we got the 3 points.

August BH 1994, coincidence this is also, another 4-1 would do nicely
