There may be a mentality of . "part time team beats big time playoff contenders,something must have gone wrong surely"

i agree.  now that most teams are full-time in the conference the fulltime clubs seem to expect to beat part-time teams.  Oxford are the worst of the lot. 

It'll be a sad day when the conference is 100% full-time.  And that includes us if we make that drastic step.

I think GH is closer to the mark saying that more teams will have to go part time, especially when they see what a team like Altrincham can do.
