Possebon also played against us last year, and scored a cracker. If he hadn't been injured by a cynical tackle in a Carling Cup tie against Middlesbrough, he'd have been featuring pretty regularly by the end of the season. For me, it's the chance to see what big clubs have in the nursery that is part of the appeal of this type of match.

The only way I see it making a difference is if they give us a clue in the media early on today, but thats not a given.

Perhaps we should be publicising the fact that Macheda, who practically clinched the title for them, played against alty last year and the minimum you will see at Moss Lane is this potential, nevermind the fact that a couple of their overpaid tarts might turn up to shake a leg.

We've got the reserves, we've got the friendly, they dont owe us much more. We should make the most of it.
