Do we need tickets?
-
Have Barnton sold off the global broadcasting rights?
-
If not, can Radio Robins be there?
-
Maybe they have bought out the Sky franchise
-
FA guidelines say that supporters of elite teams are not allowed to
attend away games at non elite clubs. No idea how stewards or
other officials deem you to be an away supporter if you aren't
wearing club colors. Residency checks not much use as many
supporters don't live in Altrincham.

Will the stewards be from Dover?
-
Phil is going for this competition this season
-
If I lived locally I'd go. 100%.

From what I can gather their capacity is 1,000. I’ve been trying to satisfy my thirst for live football for some time by sussing out a game at Trafford FC. Their stadiums capacity at Pennybridge Lane is around 1,500. They have been allowed 200 to attend matches. They sell tickets via the Shocal app with 25 spaces held back for entry at the turnstile on the day. Not sure what the rationale is behind this. I’ve tried to buy tickets via the app but as soon as they are first posted they’re sold out.
Getting back to Barnton, on Twitter the Alty non league giants are coming on Wednesday, £5 adults £3 concessions. Normally I think it’d be a breeze getting into this fixture. With Barnton not playing again in the foreseeable future after this game and it not being that far for Alty fans to travel (whether they’re supposed to or not) I feel if you decide to go you’ll have to be prepared to be turned away. Think I’ll give it a go unless there’s an update from Barnton which changes the situation.
-
Have sent an Email to Barnton FC to see if any tickets are available for alty fans.i am awaiting a response only 10 mins from my house so may take a chance and just turn up if I get no response.
-
Just had a reply from Barton fc unable to sell tickets to us
As we are an elite club.
-
Further update
No Altrincham fans will be allowed admittance.
-
Unless there is a history test on Barnton FC at the gate I can't see how that is enforced.
-
Further update
No Altrincham fans will be allowed admittance.
You live 10 minutes away and have never heard of AltrinGham TOWN. You'll be fine. Just behave indifferently when we score.
-
The reply I got from Barton fc said they will not knowingly allow altrincham fans in i suppose if you want to go you could turn up not wearing any alty gear there again if 100 plus show up they would probably smell a rat.

I wonder what the chances are of the Cheshire Senior Cup actually completing.
I am sure tomorrow's match will take place, but then the "Pitching In" Northern Premier League and the North West Counties League are suspended for a month, and possibly longer. A fixture pileup will build up, especially in the NWCL, who only started when the National League did, and whose clubs tend to have poorer pitches. An extreme example is Burscough, not in Cheshire, I know, who only played their second league match tonight!
The Cheshire FA might resist, but surely pressure will come to abandon county cups and league cups.

I doubt this league season will run at all smoothly, these local post are the easy competitions to ditch. This could prove to be the end of the CSC.

just a thought,if Alty fans turn up,and it is proved they are there when they know they should not be,could it end up with us getting kicked out of the competition?
-
Watching from a friends back garden although may as well be inside and i have spotted a few alty bobble hats.anyway
1-0 up at half time for all you peers knockers that the man who scored in truth we should be 4 up like a game of attack and defence.
-
Nice enough win.
Congrats to all.

My impression is that it doesn't, and only school football can be played during this lockdown, but I might well be wrong.
It was quite a crucial penalty in stoppage time to equalise for Peterborough at Newmarket, making the score 2-2. They won 7-2 after extra time!
