I know he is there third keeper but surely you have a manager who knows a bloke who could go in goal for a friendly.

14 is unheard of!!

I was stood behind the goal tonight at half time and the second half, and I asked the lad at half time. He said he was 14.

Gateshead had a very young keeper when we beat them 3-2? I think...

I thought he looked young but towering over Damien Reeves, i would have guessed at he was more like 16/17.

He actually made one good save and was rather unlucky with the free kick which rebounded back.

He was chatting to some people behind the Golf Rd end at half time........I was 3 yards away and could hear him speak as well as see him clearly......there is no way in the world he was under 17.
Do Barrow really not have anyone in the 16 - 21 age range that can go in goal for them or are they really recruiting from school teams

I believe they train at a sports college, and he's been training at barrow for a few months just warming up with the players and occasionally training for the first team

Is there not a minimum age to which a player could play say 16? Especially as it is open age?

I remember Jermaine Pennant playing for Notts County at 15 and also Curtis Weston for Millwall at the same age in competitive action.
