Roared on by a large travelling support altrincham race into a 3 goal lead inside the opening half an hour, Lee Sinnott is forced to change things at half time as droylsden resort to kicking our forwards, Alty take the foot off the gas for the second 45 and despite a 77th minute goal back for droylsden the game was won by half time

Droysden 2 Altrincham 4 : Att: 414 with 220 Alty

Alty fans turn up at Droylsden expecting a comfortable win after recent league form. All optimism is erased almost straight away though as an early Droylsden corner takes a freak deflection off Danny Hall and sails straight over Coburn into the back of the net. Alty then proceed to pepper the Droylsden goal and finally get one back through Nicky Clee 15 minutes before the break. Normal service then seems to be resumed when Damian Reeves gets the better of the Droylsden back 4 and slots it home to make it 2-1 Alty at half time.

Droylsden come out all guns blazing though and catch Alty off guard 10 minutes into the 2nd half scoring on the counter. Tension begins to rise amongst the Alty support as it starts to become less and less likely we can get the winner but Damian Reeves makes the most of a sloppy clearance and lashes home from a tight angle on 79 minutes. A dishevelled Droylsden then lose momentum and Ryan Brooke secures the points on 88 minutes latching on to a Duncan Watmore through ball to score his 2nd in 3 games.

Either that or we'll win 3-0 or something

I cant make it and the lads usually do well when Im not there so -  3-1 Alty -  Clee, Watmore, and Moult. Att 456 (188 from Alty)
