I know it may seem kinda strange, but I feel more confident with Williams/Welch up front. It does help having somebody taller than 5'9 up there when we are playing high balls in.

i think it would be suicide starting with welch upfront in the state hes in and williams would get eaten up by the mansfield defenders hes tall but lacks power pace and won't head the bloody thing. suprised no one has mentioned Young to play upfront hes the best candidate out of the make shift strikers

It may just be the plan here to play for a replay; seems like the most sensible option. Then all we need is Col up front.

While I agree Greg would be a good option up front, I think we need him more at the back !

Colin up front on his own for an hour or so, Welchy to come on for the final part of the game.

I thought Welchy looked quite decent up top last season actually - big and strong and as we all know, he has a bloody brilliant ping on that right peg.

The only forward who's best position is 60+ yards from the opposition goal!  ;)

I'm looking forward to Mansfield on Saturday.
Don't want to go all that way and see us go for a draw. We are still more than capable of beating them with 11 players.

toataly agree aslong as long as the team keep a cool head and let mansfeild make the mistakes I see no reason why why we cant come away with a a draw im not sure with a win looking at our attacking options but its not beyond us our away from is rather good
