Don't  think I've been to AbbeyHey before (sorry!)
What is the parking like?

There's parking at the ground though it may get full up before kick off. Plenty of parking in the streets around the ground though.

And if we knew they were coming why was it not segregated ?

Also, if we knew they were coming why did we not bake a cake? 🍰

Thompsons save in the first half was excellent , also it must be noted that the style of play gives the ball to him a lot, his short passing distribution is very good, agreed some did go out when hit long but overall I thought he had a good game
Agreed. He made three very good saves. And.......how is it that a throw-in to the opposition, usually well into their half, is deemed so bad? How many times do other keepers hoof it down the middle only to have it land on an opposition centre half's head and for the ball to come straight back into our penalty area? Surely that is worse? But it looks like the keeper's hit it long, straight and central. So what? At least Thompson finds the wingers occasionally and sets up an immediate attack.

And whilst this is likely to be an unpopular defence of Thompson, can I also voice my concern that Taylor is not the player others on here seem to think he is. Start every game with him, put his name on the team sheet first? I think not. He is largely a passenger in most games and whilst he may make some decent slick touches they are not in important areas of the field and not in sufficient numbers to warrant his automatic inclusion in the team. IMHO.

I'll second that. He's good on the ball but does very little off it. We need someone in the centre who's going to make tackles and protect the back four.

We do have a tendency on here to idolise anyone who comes through the youth team.

We've not had a single shot so far. Get Harrop on.

Hoping for Abbey Hey myself as Maine Road's bar is horrible. Even in our current state of terminal decline I can't see either of them beating us. Famous last words etc etc
Arsed about the club bar, much better pubs in Chorlton than Ryder Brow which is dog rough

A drink at the game would be nice though and half the time they don't even serve alcohol there.

I'd like to say it was a targeted attack as we poached their manager but the end they threw them was mainly Nantwich fans as they were shooting that way. So well as being odd it was also badly planned.

Their brains must have been scrambled, I smell something rotten, glad people are coming out of their shells, my blood is boiling etc etc

I notice Omitola wasn't in their squad yesterday. If he's not injured I don't care about his fitness levels, he should be in our squad.

I never want to see Hulme in an Alty shirt again. He is absolute garbage.

Magic 100 reached. The most popular signing is Tim Deasy with 68

Who are the 32 that haven't picked him?! It's been made obvious that he's going to be the No.1.

Sssshh
I'm one of the 32, on the basis that he'll be out injured a lot of the time.

You get to change your players week to week on the basis of who you think is likely to start in that weeks games.

Assuming Lane is meant to be Lynch that's about what I'd go with. Got to be honest and say that the forward line there isn't quite what I'd like in an ideal world, but with Poole and Omotala unavailable I suppose that's natural.
