Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

Large numbers of older Witton fans are turning in their graves.

Pleased for them - much better than being in Flixton.

However, what does this mean for 1874 Northwich I wonder?

I always thought it an oddity that Northwich, around the same size as Macc, had two teams. Now, this might effectively mean they have three?

They already have three.

Mark Harris has just gone way down in my estimation.....a quite disgusting decision in my book....I hope the 1874 fans protest strongly to him about this

This.

If Mark has been offered a lot of money to do this I fear there may be issues!

It is an honest club like 1874 I fear may suffer - I hope not though

Will Northwich Flixton Villa be renamed Northwich Witton Villa?

He has to do what's best for the club he runs.

It's not his job to make sure a certain side wins in the weird world of Northwich football politics.

If he thinks getting into bed with rushe and making an appalling decision fan wise is good for his club he is deluded.

I would however have applauded a decision to help 1874 get back in the town.

I don't think The Old Vics playing in town will entice anyone back from those who watch 1874........they have washed their hands of that regime and will not support it no matter what

Have 1874 asked to groundshare ?..........if not, then of course Witton would agree to groundshare with Vics. If it comes to a bidding war, then Vics will always win no matter how skint they actually are. I assume Mr Harris is smart enough to have the risks of non-payment adequately covered

Two failed administrations, the loss of the Victoria Stadium, a bankrupt chairman, a FA directors ban, 100 fans/week and now a 3 year deal at Witton that must be worth in excess of £60k. :o

I think we should sit back a minute, think about what shape we were in before Geoff Goodwin took charge and responsibility.  I always give a friendly wave to any Goodwins vehicle I see on the road.

Still grateful...
