It seems the modern equivalent of 30 pieces of silver is £47,500. The ethical guys at FCUM have sold their souls to appear on Monday night telly.

Cue shirt sponsors.....

Just to clarify, they actually had no choice under the rules of the competition

Just been directed to that info by Hash. Good to see that they're also taking a stand on admission prices. Now all they have to do to earn my total respect is donate the TV money to charity.

Televised first round games are:

Salford C. v. Notts County  Friday (1955)
Didcot Town v. Exeter C.   Sunday (noon)
FCUM v. Chesterfield Monday (1945)

From the BBC football site:

Highlights of all of Saturday's games will be available on the BBC Sport website from 17:15 GMT while Football Focus will broadcast live from the pick of the day's games.

Final Score on Sunday will feature coverage of eight further ties from 14:00 GMT all the goals and action as it happens.

A comprehensive 90-minute highlights programme will then round up all the weekend's games from 18:30 GMT on Sunday on BBC Two.

That website will eventually list the eight games the BBC decides will kick off 2pm Sunday. Take nothing as definite as yet.

Then it must be so. Local charities could do a lot with that sort of wedge.

I presume FCUM supporters will boycott the match due to it being moved for TV which is one of the main things they stand for?

Let's face it fcum took off because Arsenal were unbeaten in 2004 and Chelsea became top side and money side in 2005
