I was very sad when the original club collapsed, since they'd had some good days not long before, and they were one of the early victims of mismanagement at boardroom level.

They had an amazing season last year, and they certainly shouldn't be underrated - remember Grays when THEY first came up.  Dean Holdsworth has done a good job, and hopefully will talk more sense than his brother ! Decent fan base, hopefully enough funds to progress further, and I fancy them to be a bigger threat than Fl££twood. Top half, and probably greater things to come over the next few years.

OK this year, but unless they get an injection of cash in the meantime, they may struggle next.

If they keep Holdsworth might make a difference too.

Just noticed this evening that they've signed goalkeeper Glyn Garner. He played for Grays against us near the end of the season at Moss Lane and was very impressive. He'd been at Bury, Orient,  and latterly Shrewsbury, but had lost his place after a long spell of injury. At 33, he should still have plenty to offer.

I think they might grab the last play off spot. But wont get promoted.

Top half. Not sure they'll score enough to make the top 5.
