VICS' GAME
The Conference match betwen Northwich Victoria and Altrincham has now been re-arranged for 7.45pm on Tuesday, 13 February 2007. The game had been set for 23 January but has had to be moved because of the double postponenmt of the Vics' away FA Trophy tie at Eastbourne Borough, which has now been scheduled for that date.
Four of Alty's next six games are away (at Woking, Southport, Northwich Victoria, Crawley Town).

You don't have to be Einstein to look at the respective league positions of those opponents and realise what a crucial month lies ahead.

Any predicitons on our points haul from those 4 away games? Mine are as follows:

Woking 2-1 Alty (0)
Southport 1-1 Alty (1)
Northwich 1-2 Alty (3)
Crawley 2-0 Alty (0)

So, 4 points in my opinion against teams very close to us in the league. I sincerely hope we pick up more but let's see what the rest of you think....

We have done well in 'must get something out of' games so I do not see why we can't compete against the teams at the bottom even if we are away.

Going away for half term - even delayed until the Sunday so that I don't miss the home game vs York.
Now the Vics game coincides with my week away, hence I need another postponement ! Well miffed.

Reminds me of the game in 96/97 when JTH and I vowed that after the game we'd have a beer for every goal we conceded. It ended up 0-7 (or was it 1-7). Hope you enjoy Saturday as much.
