Wasn't the Rushden game in 1997 the last time that alcohol was allowed on the supporter's coach? It was around then anyway.
The quote I liked was the Macc fan who said they outnumbered us at Moss Lane - but before 1996-7 the crowds there were mostly bigger than at Macc. I remember games with Macc with no segregation in the 1990's - and there were a few GMVC games against them with crowds under 1,000, at both grounds.

Still, having Chester on boxing day instead of Macc is a problem I'd want to have. Looking at the old fixtures, Alty didn't play Macc too many times on boxing day.
