We could really do with him being retained. Fingers crossed he gets a chance.

It was said at the time it was a great move for the player and the club - not sure its been either to be fair

We have to remember Duncan was also getting his degree sorted out.  I think he's done enough to get more starts. the regular turnover in managers just muddies the waters further.  The questinos for me is, will they be able to keep hold of him should they be relegated?

A move to a prem club from a conf north club followed by several prem appearances has to be a good move doesn't it ?
Getting a decent university degree at the same time must be a huge bonus as well

If he gets a free to Sheff Wed, Middlesbrough etc etc and gets paid / plays games then that has to be a good move from conf north as well

If we don't benefit from any move then that is bad news

If Bagpuss lets Duncan leave or the lad requests a move, im certain plenty of premier clubs would show interest.
The futures bright... The futures orange for young Dunc (bit like ya hair fella).  ;)

It was a good move for him because of his degree in terms of football it probably wasn't for him as for us no one knows what we got

Almost certainly a sell on clause I'd be astounded if not. The vibe from Sunderland is that Allardyce wants to sort a contract out, can't see Duncan being argumentative over money providing they are fair and reasonable, what will be interesting is if they offer him a deal, how long for. One year......still not sure.....two, they rate him and want to keep him.
